Boolossal Fat Bike

Starting At

The Boolossal fat bike is for the rider who wants to ride low-traction terrain smooth and fast.

PRESS: FAT-BIKE.COM

A durable handcrafted machine, the Boolossal is built for all kinds of adventuring: fat bike races, bikepacking, and even beach cruising with a Gates Carbon Drive belt system and internally-geared hub setup.

Stiff and Smooth Fattie

Featuring our one-of-a-kind Iron Bamboo in a tube-to-tube construction and bound together with hand-wrapped carbon fiber, this fattie enjoys the same complement of stiffness and smoothness found in every Boo frame.

How’s this feel on a fat bike?  The torsional forgiveness of the bamboo allows for confident handling in the twisty stuff.  Out of the saddle, the bike is stiff and snappy thanks to the bamboo’s thousands of strong fibers.  In the rough stuff, the jolts and chatter from the trail are soaked up by the bamboo’s cushioning lignin (and those big fat tires).

Boolossal: Compatible and Durable

With a 170mm symmetrical rear end, the Boolossal sports plenty of clearance for either a 26″ fat or 29-plus wheel set.  A press fit 46x100mm bottom bracket shell and 49.6mm head tube allows for compatibility with a variety of drivetrain and fork options.

Pair it with our tapered full-carbon fork, the 60mm travel Lauf Carbonara, or the RockShox Bluto for some serious suspension.  The Boolossal is also drilled for internal routing, preserving its clean lines and low-profile look.

Whether it’s groomed snow trails or burly fire roads, the Boolossal is ready to help you realize your low-traction adventures.  Supported by the Boo Warranty and our satisfaction guarantee, the only things you’ll have to figure out are where you want to ride this mean machine and how long you can be gone before people start to worry.
